Our company history

ACCURAT Gesellschaft für Personaldienstleistungen mbH was founded in 1996 by managing directors Dirk Janssen and Volker Jost. Starting out with two branches – one in the capital Berlin and one in Bernau – which continue to exist today, the years which followed saw ACCURAT open a total of 47 branches in 14 of Germany’s 16 states as a nationwide staffing service provider. There are plans for further branches. The expansion into Austria (with 2 branches) and Poland (with one branch) also makes our company an even more attractive employer – and not just in Germany. We are now one of the industry’s leading companies in Germany, based in Berlin.

In 1998, ACCURAT became a member of the large Bundesverband Zeitarbeit Personaldienstleistungen e.V. (German association for temporary work, BZA), which was an employer’s and business association for franchised temporary-work companies.

Since 1999, our company has held a permanent permit for contract staffing, which is a good indication of its reliability. This permit is only granted to staffing service providers complying with the legal regulations, such as correct calculation of pay or adherence to OHS rules. We obtained this permanent permit on our first attempt.

That same year, ACCURAT also became TÜV (Saarland)-certified under quality management standard DIN ISO 9001. This is the most important, and also the most prevalent (nationally and internationally) standard in quality management, and forms the basis for the continuous improvement process in the company’s internal quality management system. The standard establishes minimum requirements for a quality management system that must be met by companies, thereby covering customer requirements, as well as further requirements for product/service quality. DIN ISO 9001 spans a total of eight quality management principles, which serve as cornerstones/guidelines for business activities. The principles relate to aspects such as customer focus and the constant improvement of all processes.

Since 2003, we have been applying the Collective agreement of the Bundesverband Zeitarbeit Personaldienstleistungen e.V. (BZA) and the DGB (German Federation of Trade Unions), which became the Bundesarbeitgeberverband der Personaldienstleister (German employers’ association for recruitment agencies, BAP) collective agreement in 2011.

Mr Matthias Winter joined our company in 2005, and has since assisted us as the third managing director of ACCURAT Gesellschaft für Personaldienstleistungen mbH. Mr Winter primarily looks after all branches located in the south and south-east.

In 2010, the TÜV technical inspection agency (Hesse) certified ACCURAT for the SCP (Safety Certificate in Personnel Services) management system, which is specially aimed at temporary-work requirements. The certificate contains details on a staffing service provider’s OHS standards, and includes training courses, information and instructions. The advantages of this certification are, for example, the reduction and prevention of accident-based outages, the promotion of occupational health, the improvement of operational procedures and workflow, more safety, and a reduction in critical situations during business operations.

In 2011, the Arbeitgeberverband Mittelständischer Personaldienstleister (employer’s association for small and medium staffing service providers, AMP) merged with the Bundesverband Zeitarbeit Personal-Dienstleistungen (German association for temporary work, BZA) to form the Bundesarbeitgeberverband der Personaldienstleister (German employers’ association for recruitment agencies, BAP), which advocates fair conditions in temporary work through a code of conduct, whose compliance is monitored by a court of arbitration. ACCURAT automatically became a member of this resulting association.

We continue to strive to obtain all necessary certifications and to remain up-to-date in every respect.
